LH "Buy more than 50,000 new rental houses this year"

Korea Land and Housing Corporation, LH said it will purchase more than 50,000 new rental houses this year.

It is in line with the government's "plan to expand housing supply to stabilize people's housing" announced in August last year, and plans to purchase 36,492 households in the Seoul metropolitan area this year.

To this end, LH issued an announcement on this year's new purchase lease on the 2nd and rushed to work, advancing the timing of the project by two months from last year.

The Seoul Metropolitan Area Headquarters, where the purchase volume is concentrated, will push for organizational expansion and manpower reinforcement, including the establishment of a "purchase rental business," an organization dedicated to purchase and lease.

After increasing the number of people in charge of purchasing and leasing the metropolitan headquarters from 87 to 228 last year, the number of people will be increased to 272 this year to strengthen the driving force of the project.

In addition, in order to revitalize the new purchase and rental project, houses with more than 50 households in the Seoul metropolitan area will apply a "construction cost-linked" method that can properly reflect construction costs of private businesses in the purchase price.
