Two incumbent police officers were found to have leaked investigation information to the SPC Group, which is under investigation for the alleged withdrawal of the union, and handed over to disciplinary proceedings.

According to the data submitted by Kim Sung-hoe of the Democratic Party of Korea from the National Police Agency, the National Police Agency was notified of two police officers' irregularities by the prosecution on May 2.

Each of them is a police officer belonging to the main office and a front-line police station, and they are accused of accepting gifts such as gift certificates to SPC officials and informing them of the investigation.

Police said they have notified the disciplinary department after inspecting them and will demand disciplinary action from the next disciplinary committee.

SPC officials, including SPC Chairman Heo Young-in, are currently on trial for urging members of the Paris Baguette branch of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), the Chinese Food and Drug Workers' Union of its subsidiary PB Partners, to leave the union.
