At around 5:40 p.m. today (10th), a Tesla electric car caught fire after hitting a road wall on the road in Daedeok-myeon, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The entire vehicle was completely burned by the fire, and a driver was found dead in the back of the vehicle.
Police officials say the electric car is believed to have caught fire after hitting the road wall as it slipped in the rain, and that the driver is believed to have died because he could not escape.
