An ex-convict of a sex crime who ran away after damaging a location-tracking electronic device in Incheon was caught by police in 40 minutes.
Incheon Yeonsu Police Station arrested a man in his 50s for violating the Electronic Device Attachment Act.
Mr. A is accused of damaging the electronic anklets he was wearing in Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, around 0:30 a.m. today (11th).
The Ministry of Justice asked the police to cooperate when A's electronic anklet was damaged and the alarm went off in its system, and the police caught A hiding under the vehicle in the underground parking lot of the apartment building in Yeonsu-gu in about 40 minutes.
It was found that A had been convicted of rape and injury in the past and had also been ordered to attach an electronic anklet.
