Medical students say nothing has changed over the Ministry of Education's decision to allow medical students to take leave of absence from school on a voluntary basis.
Son Jung-ho, co-chairman of the Student Association of the Graduate School of Medicine at the Korean Medical University, said in a statement after the announcement of the Ministry of Education today (29th) that it is natural to approve the legal leave of absence.
He also said that the students will not forget that it was the Ministry of Education that had been preventing them from taking a leave of absence, and that nothing else has changed.
Previously, medical school and medical school students have emphasized that they will not return to school unless the requirements, such as withdrawal of medical school increase in 2025, are accepted.
