In January last year, the Incheon District Court sentenced seven service workers accused of interfering with compulsory execution by spraying fire extinguisher powder on a golf course owned by Incheon International Airport Corporation to six to 10 months in prison and two years of probation, respectively.

The court judged that the crime was not good, saying that they systematically interfered with the enforcement to gain economic benefits.

However, he explained the reason for the sentencing, saying that he reflected on his mistakes while admitting to the crime, adding that some were first-time offenders and that the follow-up business of the golf course also wanted leniency.

A and others were indicted in January last year on charges of obstructing the execution of official duties by spraying fire extinguisher powder to prevent the compulsory execution of court executors at Sky 72 Golf Club in Yeongjong-do, Jung-gu, Incheon.

All of them were identified as employees of a service company hired by the tenant of the golf course facility, and the court enforced the execution against the operator who did not return the Sky 72 golf course site to the Incheon International Airport Corporation.
