Officials from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety are inspecting frozen cars that transport food materials.

The temperature on the machine is 20 degrees below zero, but it is actually 4 degrees below zero.

"You also manipulated 15.5 degrees below zero."

In order to prevent food from deteriorating, the number of devices that record temperatures from time to time was decorated.

We also submitted a false temperature record to the recipient.

This is an illegal thermometer installed in the freezer.

The current temperature is 21.6 degrees.

Transport drivers set how much lower they would be, printed out and submitted fabricated records.

The Food Sanitation Act requires refrigerated products to be preserved and distributed at 0-10℃ and frozen products below -18℃.

It is also prohibited to install devices that can manipulate thermometers.

Police have booked three drivers without detention for using illegal devices.

In addition, 56 people, including manufacturer representatives and installers, were arrested on charges of making and selling devices to them.

From June 2021 to August 2021, they distributed more than 4,900 temperature control devices worth 900 million won.

Accordingly, the police and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety plan to continue the inspection, believing that there may be cases where food materials are transported without complying with temperature regulations.
