Two members of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions' construction union, who had been staging a sit-in for nearly a month, climbed to a 70-meter-high advertising tower in Yeouido, Seoul, and were caught by police after stopping the sit-in.

Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul is investigating two construction union members on charges of obstruction of business and intrusion of buildings.

They came down from the advertising tower at around 6 p.m. today (31st) after agreeing to wage negotiations with management employers at the National Assembly through mediation by the Euljiro Committee of the Democratic Party of Korea.

Earlier, union members have been on the advertising tower near Yeouido Bridge since the 2nd, demanding that the management withdraw its wage cuts next year and resume negotiations and enacting a construction worker employment bill.
