The Korean Progressive Alliance, which was raided by the police for violating the National Security Law, protested, calling it a crackdown on public security to turn the tide.

Civic groups, including the Korean Progressive Alliance and the National Action for Abolishing the National Security Law, held a press conference in front of the National Police Agency in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul yesterday (31st) and claimed that the police raid was due to inter-Korean exchanges that took place years ago and books such as Knowing the Book Right, published at that time.

At the same time, he criticized that what was legal at the time was now illegal, saying that it was intended to change the regime's declining approval rating.

Earlier, the National Police Agency's Security Investigation Bureau raided the office of the Korean Progressive Alliance and the home of Han Chung-mok yesterday.
