Jeju Island's rain lull and heavy rain warning lifted...Beware of strong winds.

All heavy rain warnings issued in mountainous areas have been lifted as rain poured down on Jeju Island since yesterday (1st).

As of 4 a.m. this morning, the Korea Meteorological Administration lifted heavy rain warnings issued in the mountains of Jeju Island, the mountains of northern and southern areas, and other heavy rain warnings in Jeju Island.

Due to the influence of Typhoon 'Kongrey', 300mm of heavy rain fell on Jeju Island yesterday (1st), but the rain subsided at 9 p.m. last night as 'Kongrey' weakened its power due to the temperate low pressure.

However, it's still blowing hard.

Currently, strong wind warnings are in place between the western part of Jeju Island and the northern and southern mountains, and strong wind warnings are in place in other areas.

In addition, a wind wave warning was in effect for the far seas south of Jeju Island, and a wind wave warning was in effect for the far seas off Jeju Island, the southern West Sea, and the southern East Sea.
