It is unusual to postpone the sentence of the case just before the hearing, but the court explained that it was postponed because it needed further legal review.

The biggest issue in this case is whether Chief Prosecutor Sohn directly sent a complaint to Kim Woong, a former lawmaker of the People's Power.

The first trial considered that it was correct that Chief Prosecutor Sohn directly sent a complaint and a ruling to former lawmaker Kim in various circumstances.

However, Prosecutor Sohn's side has sent a complaint to someone, but insists on the "third party intervention theory," saying that the opponent was not former lawmaker Kim.As

'direct delivery of the complaint' is a major premise of the lower court that sentenced him to prison, it is interpreted that the judgment can take time because if the possibility of third-party intervention is recognized, it can change whether it is guilty or not.

The two sides are sharply confronting each other over the alleged violation of the Public Official Election Act.
