At around 8 p.m. last night, an explosion occurred at a wastewater treatment plant in Seoknam-dong, Incheon.
Fortunately, the explosion did not lead to a fire, but two people were treated at the hospital, with a factory official in his 40s injuring his neck and jaw.
Fire officials said they were investigating the exact cause of the explosion, saying there were difficulties in field action due to the collapse of some of the factories and the release of a lot of steam.
