Ahead of this year's College Scholastic Ability Test, a number of cases of unfair advertising or illegal sales of drugs such as "drugs that study well" have been caught.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety said it has detected 83 unfair advertisement posts and 711 illegal distribution posts of ADHD drugs through intensive online inspections for 10 days from the 15th of last month.

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety asked the Korea Communications Standards Commission to block access to these sites and requested administrative measures from the competent administrative agency.

They were found to be illegal products containing drugs or deceiving them as if they were health functional foods and drugs that were effective in improving concentration.

In particular, the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety warned that there are no symptoms of ADHD, and that taking treatments has no effect of increasing attention and could lead to side effects such as insomnia.
