As Japanese media reported on an elementary school baseball player in Korea, interest in the main character is growing.

On the 3rd, Japanese media Tokyo Sports paid attention to Park Seok-hyun (Wang Gil-cho), a member of the Seo-gu Little Baseball Team in Incheon, in an article titled "The Second Shohei Ohtani, 182cm-100kg big elementary school student who appeared in Korea, isn't he a professional?"

Incheon Seo-gu Little Baseball Team, to which Park Seok-hyun belongs, beat Incheon Namdong Little Baseball Team 6-5 in the final of the 10th Park Chan-ho-bae National Little Baseball Tournament held at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on the 28th of last month.

Park Seok-hyun, who appeared as the first hitter at the time of the competition, drew attention with his physique comparable to that of a professional player even though he was an elementary school student.

Tokyo Sports said, "Park Seok-hyun is expected to be a talent who will carry the future of Korean baseball, boasting a huge 182cm and 100kg," adding, "He is the only player on both teams to stand out, and his posture at bat is the same as that of a professional player." He said he had one double and two stolen bases on the day, and his running was also powerful.

"In recent years, Korean baseball has not performed at international competitions, and players who are trying to advance to the big leagues are suffering from injuries," he said. "Park Seok-hyun's appearance is a light of hope."
