The Ministry of Environment announced that the "Amendment to the Enforcement Rules of the Water Environment Conservation Act," which will reasonably improve wastewater treatment regulations, will be promulgated tomorrow (7th) and implemented immediately.
Wastewater generated from water purification facilities within waste disposal companies can be disposed of at their own facilities, and if wastewater can be consigned and verified by the computer system, the process of reporting it to local governments is exempted.
He also explained that the burden on fishermen was reduced by increasing the number of marine products that were simply washed with water and excluded from wastewater discharge facilities from some, such as shellfish, to all marine products.
The Ministry of Environment said it expects the revision of the enforcement regulations to relieve some of the difficulties that occurred at the wastewater treatment site due to unreasonable regulations.
