According to the data received by Rep. Jin Sun-mi of the Democratic Party of Korea from the National Institute of Health and Medical Personnel, a total of 304 people applied for the written examination of doctors in January next year.
Usually, doctors' state exams are conducted once a year, and are held in the order of practical tests from September to October and written tests in January of the following year.
A total of 347 people took the practical test held in September, and only 304 of them applied for the written test, and the number of new doctors is expected to be up to 300 next year.
