Yes, representative Lee Jae-myung, who was sentenced to one year in prison and two years of probation for violating the Public Official Election Act, filed an appeal with the Seoul Central District Court against the results a while ago.

Six days after the first trial was sentenced, the appeal was filed with one day left before the deadline for submission.

Representative Lee has not yet revealed the detailed reason for the appeal, but it is read to the effect that the lower court is unfair as he has pleaded not guilty.

The prosecution has not yet submitted an appeal.

In the first trial, Lee was sentenced to two years in prison for violating the Public Official Election Act, so he is expected to appeal soon.

Earlier, CEO Lee was put on trial on charges of making false statements by saying, "I didn't know the late Kim Moon-ki when he was mayor of Seongnam" or "I never played golf together" when he was a presidential candidate.

In the same year, he is also accused of making false statements to the effect that he changed the use of the Baekhyun-dong site under pressure from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport during a parliamentary audit in Gyeonggi-do.

Lee consistently denied the charges, but the Seoul Central District Court sentenced Lee to one year in prison and two years of probation in the first trial on the 15th.
