North Korean leader Kim Jong-un reiterated his willingness to secure the strongest defense capability for security, saying he was confident of a hostile North Korea policy through negotiations with the United States.

In his speech at the opening ceremony of the armed equipment exhibition "Defense Development - 2024," Kim said they have already gone all the way to the negotiating states with the United States.

He added that it was not the will of the first country to coexist, but the position of thorough power and the aggressive and hostile policy toward Korea that could not change at any time.

In addition, he blamed the United States for the deterioration of the situation on the Korean Peninsula, saying that the extreme situation created in the Korean Peninsula was never caused by a misunderstanding of the other party.
