The National Police Agency said that 184 drug offenders were arrested after a two-month special crackdown on clubs and other entertainment areas since September, up 95.7% from the same period last year.
The number of drug offenders arrested was 49, which is also a significant increase compared to 20 last year.
The seizure of ketamine, a drug mainly distributed in clubs and entertainment establishments, has increased sixfold, and the seizure of ecstasy has more than doubled.
A police official stressed that active reporting from citizens is necessary to eradicate drug crimes that occur in secret spaces.
