A big fire in a slum in Manila, Philippines...the loss of a thousand houses

A large fire broke out in a slum in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, causing damage to more than 1,000 homes.

According to local media in the Philippines, a fire broke out in the Tondo area, a slum in Manila, at around 8 a.m. on the 24th.

About 1,000 out of 2,000 households are said to have been burned, and the casualties are still unknown.

Red flames and black smoke rose into the sky as beach houses were set on fire, and wooden floating houses were burned, devastating the village.

Local authorities deployed 36 fire engines and four fire boats, and the Air Force also mobilized two fire helicopters to extinguish the fire.
