A man accused of trying to assassinate an Uzbek politician was arrested and deported after fleeing to South Korea.
The National Police Agency and others arrested a man in his 30s from Uzbekistan, who was placed on Interpol's red list on charges of attempted murder, in Taean, South Chungcheong Province, on the afternoon of the 23rd.
Mr. A is accused of attempting to assassinate a former deputy president of Uzbekistan's presidential office in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, on October 26.
Mr. A was found to have been forcibly deported after his arrest.
