In the cold weather, a lot of snow is expected to fall in Seoul and other parts of the country by tomorrow.
The Korea Meteorological Administration announced a preliminary special warning for heavy snowfall in the Seoul metropolitan area, including Seoul, and parts of Yeongseo, Chungbuk, Gyeongbuk, and Jeonbuk as of 4 p.m. yesterday (26th).
With the influx of cold snow clouds, heavy snow is expected to fall up to 30cm in Gangwon-do, 20cm in Gyeonggi-do, and 15cm in Chungcheong, Honam, and Jeju mountains by tomorrow.
Seoul is also expected to see a lot of snow from 3 to 10 cm.
The Korea Meteorological Administration feared that there would be a risk of a slip accident on the way to work due to the high possibility of strong and heavy snow concentration between early this morning and morning.
The snow will continue inland until tomorrow morning and then subside in the afternoon, but Chungcheong and Honam regions, which are affected by the terrain, are likely to continue until later in the week.
In particular, colder weather than usual below zero is expected to continue somewhat longer past the weekend and into next week.
