A court ruled that the operator of the YouTube "Taldeok Camp" channel, which produced and posted a defamation video of singer Kang Daniel, should pay 30 million won to Kang.

The Seoul Central District Court ruled today (27th) that Kang should pay 30 million won in favor of some plaintiffs in a 100 million-worth damages lawsuit against Park.

Park is accused of defaming Kang by posting false videos related to the idol's personal life two years ago.

Park was fined 10 million won in the first trial in September, and Kang filed a separate civil lawsuit worth 100 million won immediately after the criminal case was decided.

Park was sentenced in December last year to pay 100 million won worth of compensation to Jang Won-young, a member of the idol group 'Ive', and an appeals court is underway.
