Professor of Ulsan Medical University, "At this rate, we need to have zero capacity in 2026."

Professors and students of Ulsan National University Medical School, which has Asan Medical Center in Seoul as a training hospital, held a picketing protest against the government's policy to increase medical schools.

The Ulsan Medical University professor's emergency committee argued today (18th) that it is the right decision to hold a picket protest with medical students and resignation doctors, and not to drastically reduce or select new medical students next year.

He then stressed that if next year's college entrance is completed, the number of medical students recruited for 2026, the next year, should be zero.
