Lee Jin, public information officer of the Constitutional Court, said at a press briefing today (24th) that the judges' meeting will be held the day after tomorrow.
The contents of the meeting are confidential, but they are expected to exchange opinions on the process a day before the preparation date for Yoon Suk Yeol's first impeachment hearing.
Initially, the Constitutional Court asked President Yoon and the National Assembly to submit documents, including proof plans, by today, but the Constitutional Court said there were no documents received from the parties until this morning.
To reporters asking if there is a disadvantage if they do not submit documents, the Constitutional Court explained that it is up to the judge to decide.
In addition, when asked if he would refer to the investigation records after former Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun was indicted, the judge answered briefly that it was up to him to decide.
The National Assembly plans to submit the documents this afternoon, but President Yoon's side declined to say to reporters asking about the plan to submit the data today, saying they will make a position organized the day after tomorrow.
