The prosecution has arrested and charged Cho Ji-ho, the head of the National Police Agency, and Kim Bong-sik, the head of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, who are suspected of abusing their authority as an important mission worker for rebellion.

The investigation also confirmed how they were involved in martial law one after another.

First of all, it was found that the two met with President Yoon Suk Yeol at the house in Samcheong-dong on the evening of martial law and were instructed to control the National Assembly well after martial law.

Since then, the two commissioners have blocked the National Assembly twice by deploying 1,740 police officers, including the task force, after consultation.

In the process, Commissioner Cho was even briefed on an on-site inquiry saying, "It does not seem to be in line with the Constitution to block lawmakers from entering," but

If you don't follow the decree, we'll all be arrested,' he said, ordering you to follow the instructions.

Cho was found to have been asked by Yeo In-hyeong, the commander of the South Korean military's counterintelligence command, to help locate and arrest more than 10 key figures, including National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-sik.

The request was also reported from an official at the National Investigation Headquarters of the police, and the prosecution believes that Commissioner Cho and others approved it.

After hearing the plan to enter the Election Commission from Commander Yeo, he ordered the head of the Gyeonggi Southern Police Agency to control it,
The head of Gwacheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province, where
was ordered, sent 115 police officers armed with K-1 rifles to block and occupy the NEC building.

The prosecution said there are still suspicions to be revealed about Cho Ji-ho and Director Kim Bong-sik, and that it will continue the investigation.
