Israel "has already carried out more than 70 secret operations targeting Hezbollah facilities"

The Israeli military says it has already conducted more than 70 secret operations on Hezbollah facilities in southern Lebanon over the past few months to find weapons and tunnels hidden in private homes.

Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari said at a briefing that the disclosure was made for the first time following the release of the confidentiality.

He also explained that through these operations, Hezbollah has discovered a detailed plan to prepare for a full-scale attack on northern Israel in the same way that Hamas carried out in October last year.

Hagari said he would release the video, calling it Hezbollah's tunnel filmed by soldiers, and submit evidence obtained through the operation to the international community.

He also stressed that Israel will not advance into Beirut or southern Lebanon cities, saying the goal of the ground war is a safe return of people from the northern border.

Separately, the Israeli military announced it was mobilizing four more reservists for operations in the northern part of the country.
