Israel's Defense Minister Yoav Galant has spoken of strong retaliation against Iran.

"Iran's airstrikes were aggressive but inaccurate," Gallant said during a visit to Unit 9900 under the Israeli military intelligence service. "Anyone who attacks us will pay a price."

"Our attacks will be deadly, accurate, and most of all amazing," he said, stressing that "Iran will not understand what happened and how it will only see the consequences."

Regarding the Iran attack plan, Gallant added, "All the chain of command is focused on this issue in a single order."

Gallant's comments came shortly after U.S. President Joe Biden and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke by phone.

The two leaders appear to have exchanged views on future retaliatory attacks by Israel, which was attacked by Iranian missiles.

Iran fired about 200 ballistic missiles into Israel on the 1st, claiming that it was retaliation for the deaths of Hamas chief Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah.

In response, Israel is considering another retaliatory attack targeting mainland Iran.
