Biden "concerned about sending North Korean troops...He will be hit when he participates in the war."

U.S. President Joe Biden has repeatedly expressed concern over North Korean troops sending troops to Russia and warned that they would be hit by Ukrainian forces if they entered Ukrainian territory.

Asked by reporters if he was concerned about North Korean troops sent to Russia after visiting Baltimore, Biden said he was concerned.

When asked if Ukraine should hit North Korean units, he said that if North Korean troops cross into Ukraine, they will be hit.Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder

told a briefing that North Korea had sent 10,000 soldiers to train in eastern Russia and that the troops were expected to augment Russian forces in the coming weeks.

It also said thousands had moved to Russia's Kursk, close to Ukraine, and that a small contingent was already in the Kursk region, explaining that thousands of troops had almost arrived or were on the verge of arriving.

"At this point, the rest of the troops are training in the east, but at some point they are expected to move in the direction of Kursk," it said.
