The price of cryptocurrency Bitcoin has risen steeply every day amid the impending U.S. presidential vote, once approaching its all-time high.
On the U.S. cryptocurrency exchange, Coinbase, the price of Bitcoin once exceeded $73,000.
It's been seven and a half months since March when it crossed the $73,000 mark.
Bitcoin once soared to $73,600 and was on the verge of breaking the all-time record high of $73,800 on March 13.
The surge in prices is attributed to expectations that the new administration will have a pro-virtual currency policy stance, unlike the Biden administration, which has approached virtual currency as a regulatory focus.
