Vice President Harris and former President Trump visited competing states to appeal to votes, holding a campaign rally in North Carolina side by side for the last weekend before the presidential election.
Harris first visited Atlanta, Georgia, where he stressed he would not go back in time, saying he had a chance to go beyond Donald Trump's decade of trying to divide the U.S. in this election and headed to Charlotte, North Carolina.
During a campaign rally in Gastonia, North Carolina, former President Trump appealed for Vice President Harris to vote for him to lower taxes and prices, saying he had no vision, no ideas, and no solutions.
In the meantime, Vice President Harris met with reporters before the campaign and directly criticized House Speaker Mike Johnson, a Republican, for saying he would abolish subsidies given to semiconductor companies that invest in the United States.
Vice President Harris said it was his plan and intention to keep him investing in U.S. manufacturing, and aimed at the votes of workers in rival states, including Michigan, which is backed by jobs and union activities under the Semiconductor Act.
