The flight was canceled when a bullet flew into a passenger plane preparing to take off from Dallas.

At around 8:30 p.m. local time on the 15th, a Southwest Airlines aircraft was shot on the runway just before takeoff at Dallas Lovefield Airport.

The area near the cockpit was shot, but no one was hurt.

However, the plane, which had been scheduled to depart for Indianapolis Airport, returned to the gate, and all passengers also exited the aircraft, the Federal Aviation Administration said.
