U.S. President-elect Donald Trump is announcing Cabinet appointments at a high speed ahead of the launch of the second administration.
Amid criticism that it is an impromptu figure based solely on loyalty, there is also a controversy over poor verification.

Just eight days.
It took U.S. President-elect Donald Trump to announce 12 ministerial-level nominees.
It is five times faster than current President Joe Biden or former President Barack Obama, who averaged nearly 40 days in the same selection.
It is a huge speed battle compared to Trump's first term, when the first cabinet appointment was announced only a month after his election eight years ago.
Starting with the White House chief of staff on the 7th, two days after the presidential election, Trump is filling key positions in staff and cabinet only with loyalists.
At an unusually fast pace, Washington's political circles are criticizing it as an impromptu appointment of the Cabinet.
Attorney General Matt Gates, who was not even on the trip but was decided in just two hours on board, is a case in point.

Controversy over insolvency verification and eligibility continues to emerge.
National Intelligence Director-designate Tulsi Gabbard says Russia-friendly track record disputed
The nomination of Robert Kennedy Jr., who has been calling for 'anti-vaccine'
, also raises questions.
[Hakim Jeffries / House Democratic Leader: I can't help but ask if nominees like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are the best people to serve in a second Trump administration.]
Controversy over poor verification is also growing after former Fox News anchor Pete Hegseth, the nominee for defense secretary, admitted to paying a settlement to a woman who reported her on sexual assault charges in return for not disclosing the case.
