With more than a thousand days of war between Ukraine and Russia, President Zelensky warned that the number of North Korean troops on the front lines could rise to 100,000.

Attention is focusing on whether European air-to-ground cruise missiles will also join attacks on mainland Russia, following long-range U.S. missiles.

On the 19th local time, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, who celebrated the 1,000th day of war due to Russia's invasion, made a video address to the European Parliament.

In particular, President Zelensky warned that the number of North Korean troops dispatched could increase to 100,000, from the current level of 11,000.

It did not give specific grounds but said the situation would get worse and called for weakening Putin's ability to finance oil, a lifeline.

European allies have also reaffirmed their unwavering support for Ukraine, expressing concern about North Korea's dispatch of troops.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz also criticized North Korea's dispatch of troops to Russia at a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping for the first time.

Britain and France believe the U.S. authorized the use of long-range missiles to strike mainland Russia because of the North Korean military's participation in the war.

As a result, European long-range air-to-ground weapons are more likely to join attacks on the Russian mainland.

The Storm Shadow, co-developed by Britain and France, is an air-to-ground cruise missile with an operational radius of 250 kilometers.

The White House said it was not surprised by Russia's announcement of a new nuclear bridge that eased the requirement for the use of nuclear weapons, and called for an end to the irresponsible nuclear threat to Europe.
