As a result, U.S. companies are building inventory by ordering large amounts from overseas manufacturers, including China, before tariffs rise.
In the wake of the full-fledged year-end shopping season, U.S. companies are encouraging consumption, saying that if the tariff bomb becomes a reality, prices will rise and you can't buy things at this price now.
