The music that comes to mind when you think of fall! Jazz is a must.

There is a jazz singer representing Korea that freely crosses genres from K-pop to classical music to Korean traditional music.

It's Woongsan, the master of crossover.
We met the jazz diva ahead of the
fall performance.

This is reporter Kim Jung-ah.

A song by jazz singer Ungsan with a shaker instrument!

It also combines the sound of birds to moisten the autumn sentiment.

He is Korea's leading jazz singer, but he is a master of crossover from K-pop to classical music to Latin!

What I've been particularly into lately is Korean traditional jazz.

[Woongsan/Jazz Singer: There were times when I felt a little bit intimidated. But after installing this music called Korean traditional music as a musical instrument in jazz, my fear disappeared. No matter what country I go to and do music, I'm from Korea and I'm a person who does my own jazz. I got a little confident when I said, "I'll play my music."]

Ungsan's jazz can do anything!

Since I'm out, I asked if I can do a month of cheering for the college entrance exam.

Mt. Moe, stage name Mt. Ung is a legal name.

In the fall of 17, when he dreamed of becoming a monk in a devout Buddhist family, he suddenly entered the path of practice,

The two years since then, in retrospect, the whole process has been a gift.

{Woongsan/Jazz Singer: The time I spent doing it allowed me to think deeper, to sound deeper, to breathe better, and to deliver warm music that can heal so many people..]

Was jazz the first time? No, the departure is heavy metal.

[Woongsan/Jazz Singer] I've been in the temple for two years and my voice has become very strong. I couldn't get tired of making any sound. Until my first performance at school, everyone thought it was a man singing in that circle room....]

A jazz song on tape recorded by a friend as a gift deeply decorated a page of fate.

[Woongsan/Jazz singer: The song that got me on the path of jazz] I've been singing for 28 years and I haven't sung it in 10 fingers yet. (Really?)

Even for her hard work, she had a slump, but she overcame it by writing songs on her own.

[Woongsan/Jazz Singer: I recorded my first album in 2002 with world-class musicians. In New York, fearlessly. But I was a bit frustrated on the way back from recording? Or I should be humble. or what kind of music I want. So I started writing songs.]

There were many brilliant achievements as a jazz singer, but

More than anything else, she says she is most proud of the work of promoting and popularizing jazz!

There is another thing that Ungsan is doing these days.

[Woongsan/Jazz Singer: Hip Hop Musicians, Dancers, Contemporary Dancers, Singers, and Jazz Musicians] Four people met to create a powerful project. If there's a BTS overseas, there's also an art BTS where artists gather and do it. This kind of feeling....]

Finally, I asked why they are so serious about popularizing jazz.

[Ungsan/Jazz Singer: Take 5] also means, "Let's get out of our busy daily lives and enjoy a different leisure time." If you can understand and enjoy jazz, I think you'll probably get a very pleasant gift in your life.]
