Novelist Han Kang was interviewed by Swedish media for the first time since winning the Nobel Prize for Literature.

The writer said he needed time to think about the meaning of the award by writing quietly rather than getting attention.

Writer Han Kang sat in front of the SVT camera, a Swedish public broadcaster, who visited Korea shortly after the announcement of the Nobel Prize for Literature.

It follows the practice of Nobel Prize winners having official interviews with Sweden's public media.

The artist first introduced her to congratulate her on her sudden and surprising win over tea with her son.

At the same time, he said it is time to quietly think about the meaning of the Prime Minister rather than getting attention.

There was a little misunderstanding about not having an official conference, and he explained that there are many people suffering in the world, and he told his father not to hold a village party.

He then emphasized that it is a clear conclusion that mankind has obtained through long learning that we need to stop murder due to war.

Writer Han Kang also released an essay containing memories with her grandmother to our readers for the first time since winning the Nobel Prize in Literature.

Six days after winning the Nobel Prize for Literature, sales exceeded 1 million copies in print books and at least 70,000 e-books were sold.

The most frequently found novel by readers was [Here Comes the Boy], followed by [The Vegetarian] and [Doesn't Say Goodbye].
