Hive has officially apologized for the controversy that he wrote a monitoring document containing inappropriate content about a singer belonging to another agency.
CEO Hive Lee Jae-sang posted an apology yesterday (29th) to apologize to artists, industry officials, and fans regarding the monitoring documents pointed out at the parliamentary audit.
He then admitted that the document was written in the process of compiling industry trends and others post-mortem and shared only with some senior executives, but that the contents were very inappropriate.
The CEO said he felt responsible for the fact that the original expressions toward K-pop artists were contained, adding that he immediately stopped writing the document.
He also said he apologized to outside artists who were mentioned in the document and to artists belonging to Hive who were criticized for the company.
