Tottenham manager Postecoglou has taken part in an official press conference ahead of Sunday night's Premier League 10th round match against Aston Villa.
Questions about the injury status of the main players were focused, and Postecoglou gave a positive outlook on whether Son Heung-min, the captain, will play or not.
[Enzi Postecoglou / Tottenham manager: Son Heung-min trained today, so if there is no problem until tomorrow's training, he will play.]
This is good news amid a series of controversies over whether Son Heung-min will return.
Son Heung-min was replaced after injuring his hamstring during the Europa match against Karabakh on September 27 and was out of power for the next three weeks.
He appeared to announce a successful return by returning to the match against West Ham on the 19th of last month and scoring a goal, but he was absent for nearly two weeks complaining of pain again.
The possibility of returning was raised in the League Cup match against Manchester City on the 1st, but Postecoglou once more cared for Son Heung-min and helped him recover his perfect condition.
If Son Heung-min plays in normal condition, it is expected to be a great boon for our national soccer team, which is set to announce the A-match list this month.
'Hong Myung-bo' led the team to victory in both consecutive games against Jordan and Iraq last month without captain Son Heung-min.
This month, he will meet easier opponents such as Kuwait and Palestine, and if Son Heung-min joins, he will simply get a thousand troops.
