The temperature in Seoul this morning was 5.6 degrees, 11 degrees lower than yesterday morning, the lowest this fall.

In addition, the wind is strong, so the wind temperature has dropped to 4 degrees Celsius, which is lower than the temperature.

In particular, the morning temperature in Panmunjom, Paju, Gyeonggi Province, plunged to minus 0.7 degrees Celsius, and Naein-myeon, Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, and Baekhak-myeon, Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province also plunged to minus 0.1 degrees Celsius, which is an unofficial record, but it also reached below zero for the first time this fall.

This is because cold continental high pressure expanded as the cold dry air near Siberia went south overnight.

Even in the middle of the day, 15 degrees in Daejeon and 14 degrees in Seoul and Gangneung are below 15 degrees,

The southern part of the country will be below 20 degrees, including 18 degrees in Gwangju and 17 degrees in Daegu and Jeju, which will be 2 to 3 degrees lower than usual.

The intensity is expected to gradually increase until the day after the 'Ipdong' of this season.

Tomorrow is about 5 degrees lower than today, and not only the central part but also the southern part of the country will fall to around 5 degrees, and some inland areas will fall below zero, and there will be a cold wave warning in some places.

Meanwhile, the east coast will receive 5 to 20mm of rain all day.

Snowfall has not been observed yet, but caution is needed as the temperature is low and roads are likely to freeze, resulting in icy roads and thin road ice.

The early winter cold, which is below the usual temperature, is expected to gradually ease by recovering to normal temperatures over the weekend.
