Today, the weekend, a cold wave warning was issued in northeastern Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do with snow falling inland until the afternoon.

Tomorrow, the coldest weather will come this winter.

In the cold, it is said that outdoor skating rinks were opened in the city center.

Yes. Currently, the temperature in Seoul is 0.7 degrees and the wind chill is -3.4 degrees, which is very cold, but many citizens wear gloves and mufflers and enjoy skating.

It only stops at 2 degrees Celsius in the middle of the day, and there will be no big difference from the morning temperature.

As the cold wind gets stronger from noon, the wind chill will drop to minus 2 degrees Celsius, which is lower than in the morning.

A cold wave warning was issued this morning in Gangwon Province, excluding northeastern Gyeonggi Province, northern North Chungcheong Province, and the east coast, as cold winds were expected to come in strongly.

The wind chill is about 3-4 degrees lower than the actual temperature, so please control your body temperature well.

It stopped snowing in Seoul now, but up to 2.7cm of snow accumulated in Seoul overnight.

So far, a lot of snow, 10.1 cm in Idong-myeon, Pocheon, Gyeonggi-do, has accumulated 3.8 cm in Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do.

Even now, heavy snow warnings are being maintained in Yeongseo, Chungbuk, Yeongnam inland, and Jeju mountains as snow falls in many inland areas.

Snow will mostly stop in the afternoon, but there will be places where the west coast of Jeollabuk-do will continue until the evening, the west coast of Jeollanam-do will continue until tomorrow morning, and Jeju Island will continue until tomorrow afternoon.

The expected snowfall is up to 15cm in Jeju Island, up to 8cm in Honam, and up to 5cm in Yeongseo, Gangwon Province.

Please pay attention to traffic safety as it is easy to create icy roads on the road due to freezing snow in the cold.

The Midwest today also needs attention to ultrafine dust.

Currently, the concentration of ultrafine dust in Seocho-gu and Guro-gu, Seoul, is 47 micrograms, and in Usan-dong, Gwangsan-gun, Gwangju, it is about twice as high as usual, and the air is very cloudy.

The concentration of ultrafine dust will be bad in the central and northern parts of North Chungcheong Province today,

Incheon, Daejeon, and Chungnam will soar in the morning, and Daegu and Gyeongbuk will soar to a bad level in the afternoon.

When you come out today, please wear a mask and take care of your respiratory health.

Daytime temperatures will be 1 to 5 degrees lower than yesterday.

2 degrees in Seoul and 6 degrees in Daegu are expected.

The cold will get worse tomorrow, which is a holiday.

Seoul will see temperatures plummet to minus 6 degrees Celsius tomorrow morning, about 7 degrees lower than today, and will remain around minus 5 degrees Celsius throughout next week.
