With a lot of snow forecast around the west coast until tomorrow, a preliminary warning of heavy snow has been issued in the mountains of Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced a preliminary warning for heavy snowfall in the mountains of Chungnam, Honam, and Jeju at 9 a.m. today (27th), saying that Chungnam and Jeonbuk will take effect this afternoon, Jeonnam will be at night, and Jeju mountain will be at dawn tomorrow.
The expected amount of snow is up to 20cm in Jeonbuk and up to 10cm in the mountains of Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Jeju.
The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) urged thorough preparations, saying that heavy and humid snow of up to 3cm per hour is expected to be concentrated in places where strong snow clouds pass until dawn tomorrow.
