Sunchang and Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, heavy snow warning...Heavy snow warning for parts of South Jeolla Province and Jeju Island

Special snow warnings have been issued in some parts of Jeonbuk and Jeollanam-do.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) announced that it issued a heavy snow warning in Sunchang and Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do early today (28th), and also issued a heavy snow warning in six other areas, including Gochang and Buan.

In addition, heavy snow warnings have been issued in six areas of Jeollanam-do, including Damyang, Jangseong, and Hwasun, and heavy snow warnings have been issued in Gwangju Metropolitan City and mountainous areas of Jeju Island since last night (27th).

A heavy snow warning is issued when new snow is expected to accumulate for more than 5cm in 24 hours, and when the warning is more than 20cm and in mountainous areas more than 30cm.
