[Weather] Most of the heavy snow warnings in Honam have been lifted...some strong snow by day

While most of the heavy snow warnings issued in Honam area have been lifted, heavy snow warnings are now in effect only in the mountains of Buan, Gunsan, Gochang, and Jeju in Jeollabuk-do.

The Korea Meteorological Administration said most of the heavy snow warnings have been lifted due to weak snow due to a slight decrease in the inflow of snow clouds in the West Sea.

However, he said that caution is needed because strong snow of around 1cm per hour is expected to be concentrated in the mountains of Honam and Jeju until daytime.

Snow in the Honam region is expected to continue until noon today and Jeju Island until early morning tomorrow.
