Additional search and seizure of Lt. Col. Lee Yong-min, commander of the battalion, during the 'Chaesang Corporation Case'

Prosecutors conducted additional raids on Lieutenant Colonel Lee Yong-min, the commander of the unit's battalion, at the time of the Marine Corps Chae's death.

The Daegu District Prosecutors' Office today (7th) seized and searched for suspects and persons involved in the case, including Lieutenant Colonel Lee, who is suspected of professional negligence.

Prosecutors say they raided the police to identify the truth except for the evidence they have already confirmed.

Lim Sung-geun, former commander of the 1st Marine Corps Division, who was previously decided not to be sent by the police, was also reportedly listed as a suspect in the search warrant.

This seems to be due to the fact that the bereaved families of Corporal Chae filed an objection against the police's investigation that did not send Lim to the former division commander.
