A family support center for the disabled opened in Gwangju, Gyeonggi-do.
The center was established to support solving various problems faced by disabled people and families with disabilities, and will present various programs that reflect the needs of families with disabilities.
More than 80 people attended the opening ceremony, including Mayor Bang Se-hwan, City Council Chairman Huh Kyung-haeng, disabled people and families of the disabled.
Mayor Bang Se-hwan said, "We hope that the Family Support Center for the Disabled can play a pivotal role as a welfare provider to support the disabled and families with disabilities within the community."
