A fire broke out at around 11 p.m. last night (9th) at a pig farm in Uiseong-eup, Uiseong-gun, Gyeongsangbuk-do, and was extinguished in about 40 minutes.
No one was injured, but about 50 pigs died and the inside of the farm burned.
Police and fire authorities believe the fire started on the switchboard at the entrance of the building and are investigating the exact cause.
