2 anglers isolated on the rocks of the seashore...rescue ahead of high tide

At around 2:40 p.m. yesterday (3rd), seawater hit the seashore rock in Okdo-myeon, Gunsan, Jeollabuk-do, isolating two fishermen.

The Gunsan Coast Guard in North Jeolla Province received a report and sent a coastal rescue team to the scene, and a rescuer on a power board approached the rock and rescued the fishermen.

The Coast Guard explained that at the time of the rescue, it was about 30 minutes before the high tide and that the rocks were on the verge of being submerged in the sea.
