Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon met with the standing advisory group of the People's Power and said he would faithfully fulfill his role in meeting citizens' expectations.
Mayor Oh said at a luncheon meeting held at the mayor's official residence in Hannam-dong, Seoul, today (4th), that the government and the ruling party are not meeting the expectations of the citizens, and as one of the senior members of the party, I am very sorry.
He added that he will do his best to solve the political situation and fulfill the responsibilities of the government and the ruling party.
After the meeting, Chung Eui-hwa, chairman of the standing advisory group, said that they gathered together to worry about the country and make proposals for Seoul citizens in the current situation where conservatives are in crisis, and that he hopes Mayor Oh will manage Seoul well and become a market that gives hope to the people.
The meeting was attended by 12 members of the standing advisory group consisting of senior members of the party, including Chung, Shin Young-kyun, Kim Jong-ha, Kwon Hae-ok, Mok Yo-sang, Moon Hee, Yoo Yeon-soo, Kim Dong-wook, Shin Kyung-sik, Choi Byung-guk, Lee Yoon-sung and Kim Moo-sung.
