The U.N. Memorial Park Management Office in Korea said that the burial ceremony of the remains of the late "Lot Asani Pan," a Thai military veteran of the Korean War, will be strictly observed at the U.N. Memorial Park in Busan at noon on the 11th.

The deceased, who served in Korea for nearly a year since November 1952, during the Korean War, visited the U.N. Memorial Park last year at the invitation of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs and expressed his hope to be buried in the veterans' grave, and died on June 14 at the age of 100.

An official from the Ministry of Management explained that this would be the first time among Thai military veterans to be buried at the U.N. Memorial Park.
